Play morning, concert and children’s circus
The nursery and Year 5 class at Duggingen Primary School treated the elderly residents of Aesch to a special morning. As a thank you, EGK organised a circus week for the children, featuring clowns, acrobatics, trapeze acts and a real performance.
Volunteering at the care home

The nursery children visited the Villa Theresa care home for people with dementia in Aesch and brightened up the residents’ morning with a choir concert.
They sang and made music together. At the same time, Year 5 pupils from Duggingen Primary School organised a morning of games for the residents of the ‘Im Brüel’ care home in Aesch.
The children’s circus as a reward

As a thank you for their commitment, EGK enabled the children to put on their own circus performance as part of a project week with Circus Luna.
The children chose their acts themselves: clowning, acrobatics, magic, juggling, balancing acts, trapeze and swing. Over the course of two performances, they showed the audience what they had learnt.
