The EGK Ambassadors

As a partner of Swiss Orienteering, we support top-level orienteering athletes. They embody the spirit of outdoor activity, personal responsibility and an understanding of health that goes beyond conventional medicine.

"We registered our baby with EGK even before the birth. That way, we know that as soon as the baby arrives, it will be fully covered."

Patrik is the ‘Fastest Farmer’: whilst working as a farmer on a 60 per cent contract, he competes alongside the international marathon elite for titles and personal bests. In 2025 he became Swiss marathon champion in Geneva, and in 2024 in Zurich; in between, he competed at the European Athletics Championships in Rome. He ran his personal best of 2:11:58 in 2026. For him, farm work and training complement each other: working on the land provides the energy for running, and vice versa.

Tino Polsini

Tino, an elite Orienteer, won silver at the 2024 Sprint World Championships in Scotland and gold in the sprint relay at the 2025 World Games in China. He inspires people to be more active and mindful in nature.

Elena Howald-Roos

The Ticino native has been a regular medallist for the Swiss orienteering team since 2016 and graduated with a degree in health sciences from ETH Zurich. She has been acting as a health ambassador for EGK since 2018. Following the World Championships in Flims, she retired at the end of 2023.

Simone Niggli-Luder
