Carolina Pirelli-Häring (37) joined the Executive Board of the EGK-Gesundheitskasse on 1 January 2022. As Head of Benefits, she leads a team of 80 employees.
A native of Basel-Landschaft, she is familiar with the health insurance industry from a variety of perspectives, including her previous jobs in pharmacies and at Basel University Hospital. The mother of a 10-year-old daughter has been working at EGK since 2015 and completed a part-time postgraduate course in management and leadership just under two years ago. Her main concern is "to process the invoices as close to the day as possible so that our policyholders receive the statements and payments within a reasonable period of time".
