The 73rd Basel-Landschaft Team Orienteering Race took place on 26 October 2025 in the region of our headquarters in Laufen (BL). A total of 1,605 participants in 34 categories set out in search of their checkpoints – among them nine EGK teams, children, and elite athletes.
EGK ambassador and elite orienteer Tino Polsini, U16 European Champion Carla Castelli, and U16 European Relay Silver Medallist Linus Pusterla competed as part of one of the EGK teams and enjoyed the friendly, family-like atmosphere. The varied courses, designed by former professionals, led through the colourful autumn forests of Röschenz, Burg, and Kleinlützel.
For the last time, Sports Minister Monica Gschwind welcomed the guests of honour and praised the relaxed and sporty atmosphere. We were pleased to support this event as the main sponsor. RegioTVplus captured the on-site atmosphere in a video.
The day will remain a fond memory for its sustainable and family-friendly character – a real highlight for nature and running enthusiasts.
