Elena Howald-Roos, Orienteer

Elena Howald-Roos (born in1991) comes from Ticino and has been a regular medal winner of the Swiss orienteering squad since 2016. In addition to her active sports career, she also completed a degree in health sciences at ETH Zurich. She has been a health ambassador for EGK-Gesundheitskasse since 2018. After the World Championships in Flims, she stepped down at the end of 2023.

Simone Niggli, 23-time world champion in orienteering

Simone Niggli-Luder is considered the most successful orienteer of all time. In her professional career, she has won the world championships 23 times, the world cup 9 times, and has been crowned European champion 10 times. She has also been named Swiss Sportswoman of the Year three times. Simone Niggli and her family have been partnering with EGK since 2016.
