Our special EGK-TelCare basic insurance model provides you with free access to the highest quality medical advice and treatment 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Behind EGK-TelCare is the expert telemedical centre Medgate Tele Clinic, where doctors are available to offer advice and treatment by phone or video and, if necessary, work with you to assess whether you need medical treatment where you are and with what urgency.
If you choose EGK-TelCare in the basic insurance, you should first contact the telemedical advisory centre for any medical question. You will receive a premium discount from us and at the same time benefit from expert and high-quality medical care.
Treatments are determined together with you.
If your medical concern cannot be treated by phone or video consultation, the telemedical advisory centre will refer you to the right, mutually agreed-upon expert.

Also in emergencies in Switzerland or during short stays abroad, you can visit a doctor without a previous call to the telemedical advisory centre. However, emergencies must be reported to the advisory centre within 10 days.
