EGK fulfils all required measures to protect construction workers from coronavirus

An inspection of the construction site of the new EGK headquarters in Laufen took place on 24 March. All measures required by Seco for the protection of construction workers were fulfilled.

The EGK health insurance company has also taken measures to protect construction workers on the site from infection with the coronavirus. For example, more mobile toilets and changing rooms were made available in order to comply with current hygiene regulations. Masks are also being made available to persons working on the site, which must be worn if the minimum distance of 2 metres cannot be maintained for more than 15 minutes. Hand washing facilities and disinfection stations are also provided, and gloves are worn when tools are shared.
